Dentist Willie Nel Brackenhurst
Took my son (6) to Dentist Nel for a check up, I was told to come back for a 45 minute appointment to repair 4 teeth, I arrive, get helped late, I think the dentist had 2 rooms running same time, he sat down for 3 minutes and was up off to the other room, back for 3 minutes, He injected to numb my son's cheek and he was off again, ill be back in 8 minutes he said, the area will be numb. This is a 6 year old getting his first filling, no talking my son through it, no keeping him calm, just rush in and out, see as many clients as you can and bill for the same hour I guess. He flies back in and right, lets start drilling, My son says he can still feel pain, he says cant be, but injects again, flies out, see you in 5 minutes, and hes back, Right, lets drill, no calming, no talking to a 6 year old like hes 6. He tries to use a wedge to keep my sons mouth open, at this stage hes like no, he cant work like this this is no good, we must book in to a day ward and put him under, and hes gone again next door, back in 5 minutes. No time to chat or debate or get informed and hes gone, book at the desk and they will sort. We left and that was very unpleasant and a very cold experience. I asked for my bill and was told that there was no charge and that they will sort for a booking at a day clinic and the procedure will be sorted. I then cancelled the procedure and all of a sudden I get a call for a bill, Big signs saying all cash clients must be settled etc on the day and and ... I then went for a second opinion and was told that the filling could wait and that they are baby teeth and if pain develops then it would need to be fixed, found a lovely chilled child friendly dentist, who see's one patient at a time and who was ok with not booking a day ward visit. I received a message saying I will now be black listed, for a R200 account which has not been emailed to me? Please Dr Nel send the bill via email and I will pay for it.
