Worst experience at Dr Werkman continues

After finally getting my money back, (the above post is mine) on Thursday 24 May 2018, I was there for only a repeat script (R500), I sent in my script to Discovery on Friday 25 May 2018, just to get a call from Discovery to say the script is wrong, he (the doctor) wrote 100mg, in stead of 10mg, and because it’s schedule 5, they can’t dispense it. So on Friday, 25 May 2018 Discovery phoned Dr Werkman to get the correct dosages; they spoke to the doctor and he said that he didn’t write the script, the other doctor did. But that was not the case. So Discovery phoned me and said that the doctor said the other doctor will be available on Monday he didn’t write the script. (Which was extremely spiteful and unprofessional)

On Monday Discovery phoned them again several times without success, until I sent an e-mail to them to say Discovery wants the correct script, the script is wrong please respond.

Discovery phoned me after they finally got hold of them, just to be said that they said they are too busy today, they will do it when they have time. (But they knew about this since Friday morning)

I have a serious condition and can’t go without my medication. Which as doctors they know, and I let them know that I have been without my medication since the Thursday 24 May 2018. (it’s Monday 28 May 2018, and Discovery is still waiting for them to send the script (15:00).

So after all the drama of double payments, they wrote the script wrong, and is taking their sweet time to correct it.

What is wrong with the doctors?

So after paying immediatedly (after being harassed), they put the claim through afterwords after I paid and got paid by Discovery, just not to even have the script correct? It’s a repeat script that I have been getting from them for 10+ years.

And now that I really need it, they are being spitefull? Doesn’t doctors make some kind of outh when they graduate?

If I end up in hospital because I couldn’t get my medication, will the doctor be there to explain why it happened? And pay the bills to Discovery because they know the whole story?

Several colleagues and friends (that are doctors too, but not GP’s) said I must go to the HSPCA. We will see what happens.

After being the victim in all this, Dr Werkman keeps on playing with my health and is not bothered by it a bit.
