Dr or Receptionist?

I went to Dr M. Werkman with serious pains in my right leg on 20/04/2021, she sent me for x-rays and blood work, with the suspicion that I might have a serious infection due to old injuries. The next day we dropped of the x-rays but the blood work was being sent to the doctor directly and she said that she would call as soon as she had it; by the 22/04/2021 I hadn't heard anything so I called to find out if they maybe had a delay with the blood results, the receptionist said that she had received the blood results but is yet to give it to the Dr.

I've called and emailed multiple times and each time I get a different answers from the receptionist. So I'm not to sure if it's her not doing her job or the Dr. (Who was absolutely lovely during the consultation)

I called again today 26/04/2021 and the receptionist said the Dr was too busy to have a look at the results the previous week?!
