Excessive bill just for consultation, x-rays and photos.

I went to the orthodontist while having extreme pain in my one tooth. I begged them to help me. They took a few photos and x-rays and told me a few things I already knew and also that I need braces.

So, after the 30mins that I was there, I walked out still in pain with my tooth, a proposed payment plan for R39 000 for braces which I don't really need and a referral to a dentist at Medicross, who actually helped me extract the tooth and who confirmed I don't need braces.

Now, a week or two later, I receive a bill from Wally Nel Orthodontics of R3246.50 for the consultation, x-rays and photos that they took.
