The absolute WORST place when it comes to humanity!!!! My dad was admitted to Mediclinic George in November and December 2023. Each time I was on my way to the hospital after my dad was taken by ambulance when they phoned me to come and pay the amount that the insurance would not pay before any services was rendered!!! The last time was for a suspected STROKE!! Each time I went to pay the amount without hesitation cause my dad is more important to me than any money!! This frustrated me cause WHY do you do that when people's life is at risk!!!!!!!! I don't blame the people that work there as they are just following the process directed to them by management, which is more interested in making money than the patients!!! I was doing my dad's taxes and realized that the money I paid was actually covered by the insurance, no biggie as my dad is doing awesome and I have so much to be thankful for!!!! What **** me off about your practice is that first of all I have no option as you are contracted in with Mediclinic George, second of all you harassed me for a bill of R540 for x-rays on my dad while you had R5,900 in credit from him and now we struggling to get that money back from you!!!! It has been 2 weeks since providing his banking details and still no response!!!!
