The administration is really bad

Dr. Hlongwa is an exceptional gynecologist, and I’ve always been satisfied with his consultations. However, the booking system at his office is a nightmare.

Not once have I been able to see the doctor on time for my scheduled appointment. On many occasions, I’ve waited over three hours, only to be told that Dr. Hlongwa wouldn’t be seeing patients that day, and I had to leave without being seen. Other times, I’ve waited for hours past my appointment time before finally seeing him.

The current booking system is clearly not functioning well. I’ve requested that the front desk notify patients in advance if there’s an emergency or delay so that we don’t end up waiting for hours with no updates.

The experience of arriving early, waiting for hours, and still not seeing the doctor has left me frustrated and disappointed.

If I weren’t already 9 months pregnant with only two weeks to go until my expected delivery, I would definitely seek a new gynecologist and obstetrician.

My husband no longer accompanies me because he needs to get back to work and would be late every single time.
