Make sure to check your medical aid statements to avoid false claims.

I was admitted at Life Empangeni Hospital last year, I have been admitted for several times due to depression and other underlying conditions, my doctor was away for a few days so he sent this Dr TT Hlengwa the psychologist to come and see me, she was very rude, and and when she came for the 2nd time I refused to do an activity with her because of the way she treated me and the things she said to me the first time, she wrote down details of a mental hospital on an piece of toilet paper and threw that on my bed and said when I get discharged from hospital I must go and admit myself at a mental hospital because I have a serious mental problem. Then I was discharged and I got my medical aid statement with all the claims including Thandeka Hlengwa, mind you that was around April 2022, and then this year 2023 March I received an email from my medical aid with a claim from this Thandeka Hlengwa, treatment date was 01 March and that day I was at work I have not been admitted at any hospital in 2023, I phoned Thandeka to ask about this claim first she pretends to be someone else she said her name was Nomonde Mthethwa and I could hear that it was her speaking then she said I must send an email to the email address she gave me and I did that and waited for weeks there was no response until I phoned again on the 24th of March at 8:30 , she was speaking in a very crusty and sleepy voice, I couldn't hear a thing she was saying except that she has sent an email to my medical aid to reverse the claim, when I told her I couldn't hear properly what she was saying she said that's my problem and hung up on me. At that time I was thinking to my head that this is what she always does to patients when she has your medical aid details she robs them because she knows most people don't even check their medical aid statements regularly, well she tried the wrong one this time I check my emails everyday. Be careful of false claims, and she is is very unprofessional, I have never been told to my face that I'm mad and I must go and admit myself at a mental hospital until I met that rude girl.
