DR PATIENT CARE AND THE LACK OF COMPASSION

I was pleased with Dr Tshepo Rabothata's initial consultation but after getting the results and explaining to him that we were private patients and could not afford to go to a Private Hospital it seemed that the initial fee we had paid for consultation felt overpriced and the follow up is the main reason for this low rating, We waited there the whole day from 7AM until around 6pm and the Doctor only had to read our results from the Biopsy yet we were treated as 2nd class citizens, waited until closing time and only attended to after your last "customer" left, briefly given a referral letter to a a hospital in Johannesburg where we were diagnosed as stage 2B. We opted for a 2nd opinion from another government hospital that diagnosed us with 1B. So the one hospital recommends surgery where the other recommends Chemo and Radiation. Dr Rabotata the R.3800 we paid for your time, expertise and poor manners in conjunction with the horrible after treatment and poor advice we received left us with more questions than answers in particular the matter still in question and the fact that RIA was just brushed off and her questions not attended to after our difficult journey in trying to navigate this storm in which I feel you should show a little more compassion as this is not only your field of expertise but as you are also human like us. I feel you just cared about taking our money and getting to your next customer and that it was more important than tending to your previous one. I hope this review reaches your eyes as it seems your ears are to busy to try and hear. When or if you have the guts to reply to this "customer" and not "patient" I hope to edit this review and give you a more positive rating. We are not farm animals with wallets we are human beings with deep emotional feelings. We all make mistakes, We were referred to you by our house Dr, Dr Kennedy in Sasolburg and we are just trying to find some Clarity and light in this dark situation we are finding ourselves in. Thank you DR, Kennedy you have always tried to treat us with the most dignity and respect and thank you Kindly for your assistance thus far.
