The poor and expensive service of Dr Flax

<p>I went to see orthodontist Dr Flax to assist me in a minor procedure to straighting my teeth. Dr Flax quoted me R15 000 to perform a procedure that I later found out other orthodontists charge R3500 for.</p> <p>Furthermore, Dr Flax attempted to pressure me into consenting to the procedure while his hands were still in my mouth. When I asked for an explanation of the procedure and a break down of the costs, I was rudely dismissed and Dr Flax abrubptly ended the consultation within 5 minutes of it having started. He proceded to move onto another client without any explanation.</p> <p>My overall impression of having visited Dr Flax's practise is that he is a manipulative man that seeks to maximise his profits at the expense of his clients.</p>
