********* behaviour and fees

My daughter was operated by Dr Stanley from Melomed Hospital chambers in Bellville, but the operation took place in Louis Leipoldt hospital. Before the operation i had to sign the necessary documents which also explained the applicable fees. On my very clear question if there will be any extra fees they promised me there will be be no extra fees and that the medical aid, Discovery Health Care will pay the full amount. I spesifically told them I am willing to sign the document if they can absolutely assure me there will be no extra payments to Dr Stanley. Upon getting the assurance from the secretary, Berenice, i did sign the forms and felt happy that the agreement was safe and secure and i have no reason to worry about fees Discovery medical Aid wont pay. To my surprise this was all a lie and soon after the operation was done i received a notification from Tina of dr Stanley's office that i must contact them about an outstanding amount. i phoned them and told them and refused to pay any extra fees. So i want to warn all customers of Dr Stanley and members of Discovery Health Care about this ********* behaviour. Please don't allow doctors not to charge fees above as approved and decided by the medical board in conjunction with medical aids. i am not willing to finance the doctors lifestyle with there big houses in rich areas and their expensive cars and house by the sea, etc. i am just a normal person who are very unhappy with people who abuse me this way.
