Doctors and pulling rank

Dr. Legodi does not listen to his patients. When I told him that I had been in pain for a long time and wanted to see a specialist, he became defensive and accused me of telling him how to do his job. I have consulted multiple doctors about my condition, all of whom prescribed the same medication as Dr. Legodi. Instead of addressing my concerns, he left the consulting room angrily before we could reach an understanding as doctor and patient. I should not have to visit a doctor while feeling sick and vulnerable, only to have them walk out on me.
