shocking discovery

I took my son to his dentist Dr Reza van der Ross to have a check-up, as he was complaining about his 2 wisdom teeth, after the consultation I was told that the top wisdom teeth have to be removed as it is cutting into the bottom gum, I agreed to have it removed I was given documents to get an authorization code from the medical aid. I then found out that the hospital where it was being done is Rondebosch medical they charge a co payment of R4800.00 which I cannot claim back from the medical aid. apart from the dentist bill of R1651.70 and the anaesthetist bill, I have to cough up a 4800.00?? I called the dentist back and spoke to the receptionist to ask if the procedure cannot be done at his surgery and I was told \No\" as the Dr don't do wisdom extractions at his rooms. I then took my son for a second opinion to another dentist and found out that the top wisdom teeth is not even compacted as per the X ray - he could not understand why Van der Ross could not do this at his rooms?? Secondly the codes that he used is not correct, I then got a new quote from this Dentist to have my son's wisdom teeth removed at a cost of R865.00 half price all inclusive at their rooms.<br> "
