I went to the Doctor to consult for a neck pain on 05/02/2019 what a nightmare, a 20mins consultation turned into a R5303.60 medical bill and Discovery settled without any questions and they never asked me any questions. My problem with this kind of services is the Doctors don't tell you how their ratings work they assume you have money in your medical aid the next thing you are listed on ITC for an amount you never agreed to. Doctors need to understand that the medical aids that we using it's not their play ground especially to black people who don't understand how the medical aid schemes works. To Doctors who deals with black communities please explain before you offer your services as you do when you deal with white communities , this must come to an end whereby your medical aid is accosted before April and black people would be okay with it. Our white counterparts fight for every cent in their medical savings. To Dr Jobo next time please do the right thing and explain in full what session are you going practice and how much is it going to cost and if we agree you can bill me and again please get a professional receptionist who understand client services. The medical aid schemes also need to play a role in advising their clients before settling whatever this Doctors are charging them. Thank you and bye Discovery.
