Dr Preeyan Padayachee's Dental rooms (My worst nightmare Part 1)
I first visited Dr Preeyan's Padayachee dental rooms on the 16/05/25 for my 16:45 appointment. Doctor first took an x-ray of my tooth, this x-ray will show the condition of my gums and tooth, if the tooth was infected, the doctor would have informed me at that time and prescribed me antibiotics to treat the infection but there was no need for this because I had no infection. Doctor advised me, that I have two options. Option 1. Extraction Option 2. Root Canal I choose option 2 root canal. Doctor injected me to numb tooth and gum. The injection was your normal rate of pain and I had no reason to complain or be distressed over. Doctor then directed me out of the first examining room to the waiting room, The doctor said I should wait there for 20 min till tooth is numb. I was called after 20 min to another examining room. On entering examining room I saw a used glove that had blood on it and was kept on SO CALLED STERILIZED EQUIPMENT. I Believe that this was the cause of future full blown severe GUM Infection. According to Dr Preeyan Padayachee re-using of dirty ****** gloves is standard operating procedure at his 5 dental rooms. I am no doctor but would think everyone learnt a lot from COVID 19. I believe that this is a penny pinching mind set that should not be practised with life threatening consumable supply's like gloves. However Dr Preeyan Padayachee seems to disagree with me. Doctor started root canal procedure with dirty, ******, reused gloves and the contaminated equipment that the glove was on. Don't just take my word on this, there's camera footage of this. First stage of root canal complete. They drilled and cleaned the tooth. The nerve was killed according to the doctor and receptionist. Doctor then questioned assistant why she prepare so much teeth cement. I think doctor asked the wrong question. Doctor should have asked if she added too much water. It looked like weak cement. It crumbled by 18/05/25. According to Dr Preeyan Padayachee, DOCTOR IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Again footage that I have no access too is available in the clouds. Appointment 2 was made for the 21/05/25. Appointment for 21/05/25 was cancelled by Dr Preeyan Padayachee's receptionist. Dr Preeyan Padayachee had an emergency. My appointment was rescheduled for 28/05/25, which was done to suit Dr Preeyan Padayachee's busy schedule.
On the 24/05/25 I started to feel severe pain on my tooth. On the 26/05/25 I could not bare the pain anymore and I had to declared my own emergency. I called Dr Preeyan's surgery for an appointment. They scheduled for 13:45pm 24/05/25. I was there on time. I was made to wait 25 minutes before being treated. That's how long Dr Preeyan took have his smoke break whilst I waited in pain.
When I was finally treated by Dr Preeyan he took an x-ray and examined my tooth. I asked him why I am experiencing so much pain when my tooth was de-nerved, he said that I had an infection and the tooth was not de-nerved. That's when I questioned him and asked him "why did the doctor use a "USED GLOVE" on me during my first procedure?" Dr Preeyan said that it was normal procedure that was followed. He said that they first used the glove when they gave me an x-ray and numbed my tooth. So I asked him if that was the same glove that they used on me again after 20 minutes in the treatment room and he said YES, it was our procedure. Then I told him "How cheap could you be to use a contaminated, ****** glove on me, so this is the cause of my severe infection." The contaminated glove and the fact that you cancelled my appointment on the 21/05/25 was the reason for my severe infection which spread to my sinus, my eye, my ear, my gland and I also had severe headaches. After I questioned Dr Preeyan, he appeared to be upset with me. When he injected my gum, I felt that he was very forceful and was deliberately hurting me which I questioned him straight after. 20 minutes after he injected my gum he decided to start the procedure even though I could feel every bit of pain. He didn't stop throughout the procedure even when he saw me crying, moving and grabbing the chair for my dear life. He didn't have any empathy or compassion for me. I found it strange that the receptionist, the attendants and Dr Preeyan called me MUM during my entire ordeal. My question to all of them is "Would you have treated you own MUM the way Dr Preeyan treated me?" He deliberately caused me excessive pain and made me cry like a baby. At this point I had paid for my full treatment even my followup visits. My root canal procedure was not finished. I am too afraid to go back and complete the treatment that I paid in full for. When I expressed my concerns and asked for a refund from Dr Preeyan, he emailed me a disclaimer, stating that he will give me a refund on the condition that I don't complain on social media or the medical complaints board. I disagreed and haven't received my money. Dr Preeyan Padayachee is someone that I do not trust and would not recommend to my worst enemy. With all the advancement in the dental industry, I believe that if I pulled out my tooth with the pliers and it would have been less painful.
