SAUSAGE FACTORY !!

My honest estimate is that he saw me for 4 minutes in total, at a cost of around R2,500 excl ex-rays, in 3 sessions of 2 mins, 1 min and 1 min, because he sees 2 patients simultaneously with 2 "nurses" doing all the prep work as he runs from room to room. The first 2 mins was to hear what my problem was and to ask arb questions like allergies, etc. The second minute was where he looked at the ex-rays and did a 10-second sonar. The last was where he gave me a cortisone injection. This guy is running a SAUSAGE FACTORY and I hear that if he doesn’t do cortisone then everyone else has the same diagnosis and operation – removal of the AC shoulder joint. Zero personality and struck me as arrogant. When I called to ask if I could collect my ex-rays, the receptionist comment was “but Dr told you if you still have problems you must come back”. But at what price and at whose convenience? Today I saw a decent shoulder specialist and left happy with sound advice and a ref to attend exercise therapy.
