Abuse and ************** of person with multiple disabilities at gynaecologist

Upon arriving at tge practice as a new patient I was immediately met with a very unwelcome attitude from the staff. I am an Austic 33 year severe Complex PTSD sufferer with with 20 different chronic health conditions, and medical PTSD as a result. By law I am permitted to have my service dog and husband with me during any and all medical visits or procedures. As stated clearly under the Equality & prevention of unfair ************** act of 2000, chapter 2, section 9 A, "No person may unfairly discriminate against any person on the grounds of disability, including A) denying or removing from any person who has a disability, any supporting or enabling facility for their functioning in society; AND C) failing to eliminate obstacles that unfairly limit or restrict persons with disabilities from enjoying equal opportunities or failing to take the steps to reasonably accommodate the needs of such person."

The doctor and his staff refused me outright to have my husband with me during the gynecological examination. Something I cannot do by myself. I was verbally insulted multiple times, disrespected from the moment I entered the premises and was told that the practice has the right to do whatever they please. They would only allow the patient to enter, however I am fully within my right to be accompanied by my husband, as well as my service dog. I specifically left my much needed service dog at home to accommodate the covid situation as many don't understand that dogs are not carriers.

Upon trying to relate the above mention law the staff and docyor were exceptionally rude, and refused me to even speak. They chased me from there property like a dog and insisted that no laws protecting the disabled exist to their knowledge and that they are not liable to make any accommodations whatsoever. The staff continued to verbally abuse me untill I was in a severe meltdown state and needed medication. NO person with chronic illness or any kind of disability should ever be treated so poorly. This was beyond disgraceful. I am a patient who deals eith 20 different chronic conditions on a daily basis, it took a lot from me to manage to go see another doctor for something. Just to be treated like I am a walking-corona-virus with legs. This should be a lawsuit.
