Dr Nyathi is unprofessional and her work leaves a lot to be desired.

Please let it be on record that I am writing this review as a last resort to my endless battle to receiving a refund from Dr Nyathi. I am utterly appalled by the customer experience I have had to endure with this practice. I first went to Dr Nyathis practice in Riverside to wash my teeth in the 2nd week of Jan 2021. Then after it was discovered that I have to come in to do fillings for the for the following week. When I arrived for the agreed time the Doctor was not around and the only showed up 30 minutes later without an apology. She greeted and went straight into business. After a few days I started experiencing pain on one one of the teeth she worked on. I called to arrange for the tooth the get extracted but the Doctor was a no show. The receptionist confirmed that the Doctor wont be able to make it 10 minutes after my appointment start date. After an endless calls to the Doctors practice they finally picked up and secured another appointment for the following week mid Feb 2021, another appointment the Doctor could not honour. The receptionist (Zanele) apologised on behalf of the Doctor and asked that we reschedule again. We reschedule for the month of March were the Doctor did a route canal on the right side of my teeth and I was asked to make a payment of R3000,00 (R1500 for the route canal that was done on the day and additional R1500 for another one to be done the following week) . 3 Days later the filling from the route canal ***** off and after notifying the Dentist I was advised that the Doctor will see me in April to look at the route canal gone wrong and the other route canal that I paid forward. When the appointment date came the Doctor was a no show (I was notified 20 minutes before the appointment) the reason provided to me was that the Doctor had a crime scare in her other practice and could not honour my appointment again. Long story short I have been requesting for my refund from the March and provided my Banking details upon request on the 22nd of April. The Doctor confirmed through her receptionist that I will get the payment asap but its been over a month and I still haven't received my money. I need medical attention for my other tooth but I am unable to get help because my funds sure sitting with the Doctor. Please help me. IU am not sure where else to go.
