Dr Nontsikelelo (Ntsiki) Yapi

This Dr came into her consultation room and asked me to sit on the bed and she sat on her desk and never touched her stethoscope or asked me open my mouth,infact she never moved from her table she just asked me questions from there.I was struggling to eat,incredibly weak,suffering from migraines and that particular day I woke up and I was struggling to see and I had lymph nodes behind my ears.I told her about my symptoms including the nodes and then she told me that those usually arise from an infection usually HIV related like meningitis (which is not true).It was in December and I was home for the holidays she then asked me where I live and I told her in Jhb,she then preceded to tell me that when I return to Jhb I should go for extensive tests (all this time alluding to HIV) I then told her I had just taken life cover and they tested me for all those 3 months prior and they were clear and she told me insurance companies will only send my results to my DR (alluding to saying that I’m lying). After all that,that lady never touched nor examined me she wrote a piece of paper and I was given stilpain and the weakest anti biotic and let go.I was getting worse and had to book an earlier flight to come see a proper DR in Jhb.My Dr was livid because all I had was an infected tonsil which then caused the nodes and they were on top of a vein which was causing the blinding headaches.All of this she saw within 5 minutes with a stethoscope and a mouth open and she wanted me to open a case against this Yapi lady. She is incredibly arrogant because there aren’t a lot of Drs around Mdantsane so her practice gets full that she doesn’t see the need to do a proper examination with every patient.My own mother prefers Makhiwane than this lady.Oh and she never even bothered to take off her sunglasses that entire time.
