Charge for services not rendered

<p> I received a claim from my medical aid for the amount of R1381.70 on the 26th January 2017. After numerous phone calls to the doctor's rooms, I finally got a reply from the receptionist after two weeks.</p> <p>She said to me that Dr Khamker diarised an appointment for my wife on the 17th Jan. I have asked for proof of this and proof that the appointment was confirmed with my wife.</p> <p>I am keep being told that the doctor will call me, untill now I have had no response. I feel it unfair to pay for an appointment that we did not make, confirm or attended. </p>
