Beware of this Cardiologist

My dad was a patient of Dr. Patel for over 15 years. However, our last experience left a lot to be desired.

I was speechless at the (non-existent) level of professionalism, and Dr Patels' arrogance. He was very rude to a 73 year old who was unable to defend himself. And he was rude in front of other patients.

For a good many years, he was my dad's cardiologist as he had come highly recommended.

Dr. Patel has lost all sense of what it is to be kind. He lacks the basic etiquette with regards to how he speaks to patients. He is rude, and has lost all sense of what it actually means to be Dr. I am not the only one who has had a bad experience. We have had 2 bad experiences in my immediate and extended family. I was going to approach the HPCSA regarding the manner in which my dad was treated. But decided against it, as people will eventually see this Dr for what he is.

I do not recommend him at all. Better to go to another nearby hospital and take your chances elsewhere.
