I was involved in a car accident on the 10th of may 2022, I went to Lesedi clinic in Soweto because I had chest problems, when I got there vital signs were taken and my blood pressure was 160, the doctor who treated me sent me for x rays but they showed no injuries and was discharged and given a prescription, the pain persisted, I experienced discomfort when I sit, walk, turning in bed when I sleep so I went again on the 13th, I was sent for x rays for sternal view the results showed a focal cortical depression and thickened anterior cortex, my blood pressure was 154/88 and still I was not admitted for observation, I was given a prescription and went back home, no accident report form was given to me as I need to submit a claim for RAF, I felt that my injuries are not taken serious and I’m still suffering from discomfort and pains, I want the doctors who were treating me to email me a medical and treatment report and to consider every patient as a priority, I am now sitting with an x ray bill which my medical aid won’t pay, this could have been avoided had the 1st doctor requested for full chest x ray report, I don’t have money to cover those unnecessary cost and they want to hand me over, this is negligence and poor treatment I have ever received
