Dr MASHAO & DZICHAUYA-Not being transparent-Dissatisfied with service rendered

My mother who is 85 years old was admitted to Tshepo-Themba Hospital in Dobsonville, Soweto in December 2020. A month or two after she was discharged, I received a notification from my cellphone being billed an amount of around R4000-STATING THAT IT WAS FROM THE LABORATORY. When I respond, quering that they should send me a breakdown in a statement so that we should know that what is it exactly that they are charging, they started harrasing an 85 year old that they have handed her over to the Attorneys. I guess the health system here is failing us because a patient is entitled to know exactly what is being billed before making payment. I am considering to escalate this matter to to the relevant statutory body for review
