You listened to me, you comforted me and guided me with understand and compassion

What an experience I had. Grieve stricken with my little doggie having a serious liver disease I contacted Dr Malan from the Swellendam Animal hospital for an opinion. I have to mention here, I am not his patient and he has never seen me. I live two hours away from the practice in Ladismith area. He was out on a farm visit but the receptionist compassionately with so much understanding for my heartache and concern over the little doggie, promised that Dr Malam WILL phone me. And he did. He took time, he chose the right words of wisdom to help me think with my mind and not only my heart. He took time to hear and to listen to me with such warmth and understanding. I knew he felt my heart even though he had never seen me and never treated my pet. Never received any money from me, but yet he had more compassion and understanding to discuss my dogs condition compared to the vet at Kango animal clinic who I had paid to do so. He helped in my decision making by clearly pointing out the late stages of his liver failure which lead me to the decision of putting him to rest.
