Gynaecologist and C Section Review

I recently had a scheduled C-section at Rondebosch Medical Centre , and I couldn’t be happier with how smooth and professional the entire experience was. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel calm and reassured. The nurses were attentive, explaining each step of the process and answering all my questions with patience.

During the procedure, the atmosphere in the operating room was calm and supportive. The anesthesiologist was excellent, ensuring I was comfortable and explaining everything happening in real time. Dr Kalim and team worked seamlessly, and I felt completely at ease knowing I was in such capable hands.

What made the experience truly special was the personal touches — they allowed my partner to be present and facilitated skin-to-skin contact after my baby was born. These small gestures made the experience feel warm and personal.

Post-surgery, the care was just as wonderful. The nurses were helpful with breastfeeding and they ensured I felt confident and supported before I went home.

Overall, I’m so grateful for the care and professionalism of Dr Kalim and the entire team. They turned what could have been an intimidating experience into a truly positive and memorable one. I would highly recommend Dr Kalim to anyone looking for a gynaecologist.
