Being harrassed by Doctors rooms

<p>Some time ago I had to take my Son through to a pediatrician, Upon visiting this doctor I was told that I had to pay cash for the consultation as my medical aid was not going to cover the consultation. Some time leter I had to go back to the Doctor but befor i did, I contacted the receptionist at Dr Maduray and Naidoo Rooms whos name is SARAS to find out the procedure in getting the medical aid to pay for the consultation. She had told me that I need to go to my GP and the GP would refer me to the pediatrician. I did as she asked me to do and then went to the Pediatrician being Dr Maduray and Naidoo at Chatsmed Hospital in chatsworth. Saras informed us that everything is in order and we can go through for the consultation. A few weeks down the line the same Dr office sends me a Bill for the consultation and tells me that my medical Aid did not want to pay for my consultation as no Authorisation was obtained for the visit. This is the 1st time I have been put in a situation like this. From the very 1st time I inquired about the procedure till the time the bill was posted to me, No one had mentioned anything about an Autorisation. I am now being harrassed by these people due to a mistake that was made by one of their employees. I had called in a number of times with no joy whatsoever. I was told that the Doctor was to give me a call, Its been weeks now with no news from the Drs Surgery. I am disgusted by the way I am being treated by the Partner4Life organisation as they continue telling me that they are going to help me but keeping on threatening me with final notices.</p> <p> </p> <p>If a person does not know the Procedure then they should not be working as the face of a doctors Surgery. Saras who is employed by Dr Madury and Naidoo is the root to this problem. As a client, I am not expected to just know the way an organisation operates if I am not informed properlya and these people have not informed me properly as to what needs to be done. </p>
