Great doctor, not so great reception
While the Dr herself is excellent and deserving of 5 stars, the experience I had with her reception staff is not that great. I phoned to confirm an appointment I made on the 21st of January 2026(I have the evidence of this) for the 30th of July 2026. First I was told by a male receptionist to hold on and they will phone me back in 10 minutes. After waiting over an hour I phoned back to follow up only to be told, this time by a female named Zelmari/Nelmari that there is no appointment for me and the next available appointment is for February of 2027. I bit shocked and upset I asked her how that can be that I need to wait another 7 months for an appointment after waiting 7 months for the one I thought I had. She told me to either make another appointment or find a new doctor. I responded asking how she can say that after I just told her that I did make an appointment and now I hear that it was never made so how is it possible for me to make sure there is an appointment actually made when I followed all the steps to make one in the first place in January and it wasn't done. She proceeded to tell me she will first confirm with the Dr when she sees her again if I actually had a kidney problem and needed an appointment before making a new one. She could see on my patient file that I had visited before and was an existing patient that was initially referred by another doctor after seeing a urologist first and my results for all the tests were there on file. I asked her if she made a note of the dates I had mentioned and she told me she has a good memory so she didn't need to make notes. I told her that I would feel more comfortable if she made a note of it and before I could even finish my sentence she interrupted and started talking over me with the dates mentioned and then ended off with "I told you I have a good memory, have a nice day" and hung up. That is why I can only give 4 stars. Reception is the frontline and does contribute to the overall experience of a place.
