Unprofessional and dismissive

I recently visited Dr Kathan's practice in Klip Road, Grassy Park for my 2 year old daughter, who had a high fever. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and unsettling.

From the moment we arrived, I found the doctor (Dr Ockhert) to be remarkably impatient and abrasive, which was concerning given my child's vulnerable state. Instead of showing empathy and offering reassurance, the doctor seemed to be irritated by my child's distress and appeared to lack any understanding of how to approach a sick child with care and compassion.

Throughout the consultation, the doctors' tone was harsh, and he seemed to rush through the appointment without taking the time to listen to my concerns or explain the diagnosis in a way that was easy to understand.

As a parent, I expect medical professionals to treat both children and families with kindness, patience and respect. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr Ockhert was the opposite, and I would not recommend this practice for families seeking compassionate care.
