Unprofessional Doctor

I went to the emergency room at Pretoria East hospital operated by Dr. Joubert, Scneider and van Heerden, with a nasty laceration on my head. The doctor who treated me was rude and unprofessional. The doctor refused to use anesthetic and continued to clean the wound very roughly and stapled my head without anesthetic. This was incredibly painful!! Even though the Dr. could see how much pain i was in, no anesthetic. He continued and quickly checked my eyes and left. He even told me ‘you’ve got a low pain threshold so i’ll give you pain meds” - i find this very rude. He even scolded the nurse in front of me. She at least comforted me. The doctor never returned and i had to find someone to explain how to take care of my wound and when to come back for staple removal. Luckily, between google and a nurse we found afterwards, i found out a little about how to care for the wound.

So terribly disappointed and disgusted. They charge me so much money but wont even give proper service. Will never make the mistake again of visiting their practice!
