WORST DOCTOR EVER

Never use this "doctor". Gross negligence and an operation gone horribly wrong. Dr. Joost Blok at the Union hospital, a plastic surgeon treated me for third degree burns on my hand and did 2 cuts of skin grafts that kept pussing on my leg. Kicked me out of his rooms too after I told him numerous times staples were left in my hand and it had caused infection. He kept saying there was no staples and no infection. The finger had swollen 5x it's size and couldn't be touched. The pain was throbbing daily, every second and I was NEVER given anything for the pain. This was all after over one month of the 5 operations. The day I visited him to prove the staple was still in me and told him I want to be put in theatre for it to be removed, he took it out without me knowing and I screamed in pain. The blood was gushing out and he refused to stop nor give me anything for my excruciating pain. He said if I'm not happy with him I should see another doctor and walked out on me after being so rude to my mother and myself. He knew he was wrong about the infection and staples being left in after a month and had to cover himself. Never will I recommend this "doctor" and manners doesn't exist in his vocabulary. 8 operations and 2 skin grafts later then occupational therapy after, I'm still not right. Never will be. The truth hurts.
