Humiliating Doctor Gustav Pienaar

<p>I was humiliated infront of all Dr Gustav Pienaars patients and staff while waiting in the reception area. I am 8 months pregnant and started leaking fluid. I was very concerned and phoned into the offices to find out whether this should be of concern. The receptionist advised that i come in immediately so that the doctor could examine me. While waiting for the doctor in his reception area along with other patients, he came in and asked who is the person leaking. This was already embarrasing as my medical condition is being discussed infront of all the other people in the waiting room as well as my children. Dr Pienaar then stated that his rooms are not for clinical purposes. I am paying consultation fees so i don't understand why i should be told to go to a clinic or my hospital. He is after all the doctor that was supposed to carry me through my pregnancy. He then threw my file down and insulted me further in front of everyone. He raised his voice and instructed me to sit when i wanted to leave and told me i can wait the whole day for all that he cares. He will only spend 5 minutes of his time to see if i leak. I was so embarrased as well as everyone else in the rooms. This was totally unprofessional and i cannot believe any doctor may carry on in this manner. A doctor should be there to assist his patients and not insult them and break them down. I hope something can be done so that someone else does not have to be humiliated as what i have been.</p>
