Disappointing service

I had to find a new doctor and i came across Dr Janine Potgieter, her website was beautiful and everything in the writing and pictures looked like a dream and it was NOT.

When i got to my appointment my partner wasn't allowed with me which i completely understand due to Covid. We got to talking and everything was about her and stories about her, she barely got to know me, all she asked was is this my first and am i married to the dad, i mean at least get to know me and not judge me. eventually we were going to start the scan and i asked the doctor if it would be fine if a take a video well we scan as this is our first and its the only way my partner can be involved, so she said "NO, she doesn't allow recordings or photos at all, she went on to tell me a story that she isn't allowed to walk her child to class due to covid so then everyone can suffer a bit during this time" which i found extremely rude, you could at least have some empathy during this time as its not easy being a pregnant women and all you want to do is share the experience at least with your partner. Her website states she has a sensitive soul which i don't see at all.

After my appointment i got a list of the costs for the next appointments and also that i would need to pay my delivery fees upfront before having the baby as my medical aid plan isn't one that they use. so after paying R2000 for an appointment which was due to admin fees, i only got to read the upcoming charges after my appointment and that i must pay R12000 before i have my child directly to them and once the baby is born i can try claiming it from my medical aid.
