Unprofessional Medical Practitioner

<p style="color: #555555;">My boyfriend has recently found out his HIV status from a Dr J Modi. The problem is the tests were done in February and when he went to collect his results he was given results that did not belong to him. The doctor later contacted him and informed him that he had to re-do his blood tests. Only now in April were we able to receive these results. She prescribed medication without even fully informing him about the proposed treatment. He was not informed on where he can obtain this treatment or the procedure he should follow.</p> <p style="color: #555555;"> </p> <p style="color: #555555;">Dr Modi was contacted and requested to assist in terms of contacting our medical aid so treatment can be authorized but she did not get back to neither of us. </p> <p style="color: #555555;"> </p> <p style="color: #555555;">Frustrated as we were we contacted her and requested answers from her. She said we are annoying her with our emails and should find ourselves another doctor to help us. She was not able to provide any answers instead she rudely hung up on my boyfriend. </p> <p style="color: #555555;"> </p> <p style="color: #555555;">Today we tried to go to her practice for her to assist us in completing forms from our medical aid. She refused to see us and even the lady at reception by the name of Suzan gave us attitude for days. </p> <p style="color: #555555;"> </p> <p style="color: #555555;">We are now stuck with forms and blood test results and no assitance at all. We feel violated,disrespected and unfairly treated. I believe this doctor has acted unprofessionally and she should not even be practicing medicine. </p>
