Overcharged in private health care

Hi I was hospitalized at Kingsbury hospitalized (Claremont, C Town) over a weekend in 2024 and seen by Dr J Hellig. The doctor saw me for about 15 minutes on the 1st consultation (Sunday) and about 5 minutes on the 2nd consultation (Monday) and I was discharged later that morning. I was billed R6464 of which my medical aid only paid R2024-I was liable for the outstanding R4440. I have queried this with the doctor's staff, and they only gave me feeble explanations of all the charges. I eventually paid the outstanding amount but would like to alert patients to the following: -Dr Hellig does not charge medical aid rates and way overcharged me. -She is also not the friendliest of doctors and her I rate her average as my medical problem was not resolved. -I would not recommend Dr Hellig Patients, please check the doctor's rates before being treated as in private practice, they get away with ******. Thank you
