Blue and white mould growth on Dr Hahnz dry dog pellets

I bought a bag of Dr Hahnz Grain Free Dry Dog Pellets 3 weeks ago.

When I opened the bag 2 weeks ago, the pellets had visible mould growth on them and had a blue growth covering the surface.

I immediately contacted Dr Hahnz customer care and informed them of my concerns of possible health impacts on my dog. I also attached photos of the pellets as well as the bag.

The response that I got was that they will replace the bag.

I emailed them back and once again highlighted the possible health impacts on my dog, as well as any person handling the bag. My concern is that it wasn't only this bag, but possibly the entire batch. With extensive professional knowledge in the field of aflatoxins in dog food and food safety, I kindly advised them to collect the contaminated dog food to send for tests, as this could possibly result in serious health repercussions.

I received absolutely no response regarding the possible harmful aspects, and they only asked me what variant of dog food it was so they could send me a new bag.

Apart from the massive possible safety issue of the food which is my main concern, they sent me a small can of dog food, which was the replacement of the R250 bag of dry pellets I bought.
