Room for Improvement in Communication and Neurodiverse-Friendly Care

I am an autistic adult and have epilepsy. During my appointments with Dr. Güldenpfennig., I often felt my questions were not fully addressed, and follow-up reports were delayed. I later experienced more comprehensive, patient-centered care with another neurologist, which highlighted the importance of detailed explanations, cognitive screening, and clear communication for neurodivergent patients. I hope this feedback helps other autistic patients advocate for the care they need.
