Caring Doctor Glen Vardi

I have knee pain and made an appointment with Dr Glen Vardi, orthopedic knee surgeon. I told him I am claustrophobic and didn’t want to have an MRI. He said my head would be outside the MRI tunnel and he personally called Radiology to explain my claustrophobia and to ask her to show me the MRI equipment. We live in an era where doctors give the barest attention to as many patients as possible in a day. I was blown away that he took the time and care to call the Radiology department himself - didn’t even ask his receptionist to make the call. This is how I remember doctors when I was growing up.
