Lack of basic telephone etiquette

Long story short; I called to make an appointment, there was an issue with the phone line and "Miri" could not hear me properly and offered to call me back. After a few minutes of silence I called again to be greeted with "I was going to call you I was just busy" at which point I kindly told the lady not to worry (I did not appreciate the tone). With respect Doctor this lady doesn't come across as being bad at her job but she does seem to lack basic telephone etiquette and as a result she came off as rather rude and unprofessional. Please get the lady some training.
