Nightmare Neurologist

The worst medical provider i have ever experienced in my life. Situated at Brenthurst clinic here we have a massive ego and unmatched arrogance brought on by his celebrity status. It is truly a travesty that individuals such as this are allowed to continue providing medical service to the public because peoples lives and health are at stake.

He is a money grubbing egomaniac who crams in as many patients as possible in a day which results in a minimum of a 4 hour wait for a 5minute consult for close to R2000-00.

The consult itself is a nightmare. He is condescending and believes he is God's gift to neuroscience. If you use medical terms and show that you have researched your condition he will take huge offense and shut you down, and accuse you of reading too much and claim that your research is causing you anxiety which is the source of your pain. He speaks at you, not to you. He listens briefly to respond but not to understand. He prefers that his patients know nothing, and hates it when you show intelligence and will tell you that you don't tell a mechanic how to fix your car.

These are complex diseases such as fibromyalgia and MS but you are better of seeking care and help elsewhere. You never have his full attention he is busy with other patients files and his phone during your consult.

This is a profession that is important as peoples lives and quality of life are at stake, but you never get the feeling that the aim is to help people, its simply to see as many patients as possible and order MRIs as much as possible.

He may be the best and most experienced in his field, but there is no cure for a ****ty personality and chronic narcissism.
