Bad Service

A month ago I was hospitalised in Cardiac ICU with AF. My choice of cardiologist was Dr. F Lorgat, who I have great respect for and I know him since 1998. Discovery Medical Aid asked for a resubmission of the account, The code on the account was for consultation in his room (code 0190).I phoned Zena at Dr. Lorgat's room and she told me that is the code they use for all their accounts. I asked her to contact Discovery, she declined. Discovery also refused to phone Dr. Lorgat. I was caught in the middle. I was not happy with the consultants at Discovery. Eventually a senior executive from Discovery phoned me. The correct code is 0109 for hospital visit. I asked the lady at Discovery to speak to Zena, she agreed, which is highly irregular for them to phone the doctor. Still nothing was done from Dr Lorgat's practice.I made numerous phone calls to Dr Lorgat's practice. Most of the time I got a message their mail box was full. Zena then told me Mishka is doing the accounts. Mischka never phoned me. When I informed them I will report the Hellopeter, they altered the code. 4 weeks ago I changed my address and the account 2 days ago reflects the old address. Very stressful experience.
