A warning to any person using the above eye specialist at the eye hospital in Centurion. My partner went to the specialist so as to be able to get medication for her chronic eye condition. Once she was done, we were informed that they do not claim from the medical aid, it is my responsibility. I then asked the person for the full outstanding account so that I could make arrangements to clear and pay the account in full. My partner was told to wait for them, so as to give us an invoice for the outstanding amount. I was then informed that the account is fully paid and nothing owing on the account. Lo and behold 3 months later my partner gets contacted to say that there is all of a sudden an outstanding account which needs to be paid. When I queried I was told that they went and loaded extra charges on the same day, after I was told the account is fully paid. What type of **** are they running, getting a person to pay and then later go and load more charges as they please to make more money out of the patients.
