Thank You note to Dr Ancker

Have known Dr Ancker for approximately 20 years. Always a friendly greeting, attentive listening to concerns or problems, speedy diagnosis and effective advice and / or treatment. Big advantage of course, that we can converse in German.

About 18 months ago had silly accident and hurt eye severely, no vision at all. Dr Ancker was very quiet when examining, no immediate comment no matter how many questions raised. Every 2nd or 3rd day further examinations, still no comment, till, at last, after 1 month, yes, the eye can be saved, vision was now about 25%. But now Dr Ancker, with years of experience and expert knowledge, advised : patience, patience and more patience, the eye injury needs to settle. 6 months later the vision had improved to approximately 60 or 65%, but still some further patience was required until a cataract and lens implant OP could be scheduled - and then Lockdown delayed this for another 4 months. Had OP 3 weeks ago, vision now almost 90%, will soon be able to have spec lenses adjusted.
