Dr. Radlof Negligence!

I am creating this review due to the worse experience I went through with Dr. Radloff as my Gynie.

Last year November 2021 I got the wonderful news that I am pregnant. Doing a blood test in confirming my HCG levels.

On 5 weeks, over the weekend on the Saterday night I had some bleeding and contacted Dr. Radloff immediately. She said that I should take extra Progesterone and that all we can do is wait it out. On early Sunday the bleeding got worse and my Husband took me to the Emergency Services at Kloof Hospital. The GP requested a sonar, and in the end they determined that I had a miscarriage. The GP phoned Dr. Radloff, as she was not there, providing her with the information. Dr. Radloff mentioned that she wanted to see me on the next day Monday.

Me and my husband went to Dr. Radloff on Monday and what we would assume would be a full check-up she just talked to us for around 8 minutes and charged us over R700 for that 8 min.

On the 27 December 2021 we went to the Kruger National Park for holiday. During that week I felt so bad. I was hurting and continuously bleeding. Again I message Dr. Radloff and she mentioned that I should go see a GP to do a Urine test. So the next day in Malelane I went to a GP. My urine was clean and he put me on antibiotics. Dr. Radloff said that she wanted to see me on the 5 January 2022. Again I was in her office for less than 10 min charging over R800. She did not even examine me. I told her that I was still bleeding and that I have pain in my lower abdomen. Without doing a urine test she just again supscribe Urizone to me and mentioned that I should go on the Pill to get my bleeding in order again. I was so sad and upset.

I went to see a different Gynaecologist on the 7 January 2022 to get a second opinion. He then immediatly after doing a full exam said that I might have an ectopic pregnancy and that I have lots of fluid in my abdomen. On that same day, 7 Jan, he booked me into hospital for surgery (laparoscopy) where he confirmed that it was indeed an ectopic pregnancy and that he removed it.

This was such a traumatising experience that I went through. And things could have ended even worse if I never went to see him. I could have lost one of my Tubes, I could have lost my life! Just because a doctor did not do her job!
