Drs Edington and Partners Inc

I had an operation at St. Augustine Hospital in Durban on 5 June 2019. Two weeks earlier, I made sure that I paid in the extra money that my medical aid would not cover. (please note that this is not the first operation that I had, and that I know what anesthetics do to me) I never eat or drink anything before operations, and did not do so with this operation either from 22h00 the previous night until after the operation. On the day I was seen by an anesthetist from Drs. Edington and partners prior to the operation. So far all good. After the operation, in recovery, I was vomiting and could not breathe properly. I felt as if i had nearly no lungs!! My soft palate was raw and by the time I got to the ward, I had to go on oxygen as I could not breathe properly. I was as sick as a dog. Thank Heavens for the incredible nursing staff at St Augustines who assisted me. To Drs Edington and partners, please follow up with your patients after an operation. It took me about a week to get over the anesthetics . I will look for other Anesthetists in future. I get the feeling that this is about making money and not earning it. I m disgusted, and very scared of getting any anesthetics in future. Please EARN the money that i paid you above what the medical aid paid you. The only good thing about this company? Accounts.
