DR E R Van Zyl, Dentist, Kempton Park (Arwyp)

I have a lateral Cleft lip and require special dentistry and a special chrome plate. I went to Dr ER van Zyl in Kempton Park (next to Arwyp) for a consultation. The dental hygienist did a clean on my mouth, actually without my approval and real understanding of whats going on. After she "cleaned" my mouth, my denture, (which costs almost R10000) no longer fitted in my mouth, it just dropped down. She was not apologetic or concerned at all, and just said doc will fix. Well, that never happened, he couldn't!! I had to use fixative till next consultation in January 2019 when he used up the balance of my med aid savings to "fix" it. Never ever got it right and I went without savings for the rest of the year. I had to go to another dentist, cost me R18 000 to have new denture made. Dr E R Van Zyl, Kempton Park, has literally hounded me thru his accounts and lawyers, for a R600 balance for almost 3 years, my explaining meant NOTHING. I felt after the mess up from HIS hygienist & his inability to fix a problem THEY caused, even using up my savings, the least he could do was credit that small amount to me! The trauma I went thru with my dentures loose in my mouth, I couldn't speak properly, it affected my job, self confidence and quality of life. Now he has listed me on ITC... I am totally disgusted, very disappointed and left in the lurch!
