Dr Craige Golding - Quack

I have never in my life. I have been diagnosed with Rhumatoid Arthritis. I decided, that before I go the cortisone and other drugs route I would try Dr Craige Golding who I had heard about. I thought I would be prepared so I sent him all the results of blood work I had done over the year and asked if he could send me, in advance, tests he may think help with the consult. That was flatly ignored. I went to see him nevertheless. He did not examine me physically, he whisked through my results, he did not ask me where the paid was ... he did however immediately start trying to sell me stem cell therapy at R45 000. After doing a few tests and being told that he is not sure what is wrong with me, he put me through a series of blood tests and said he would consult with me regarding the result. As far as I am concerned it's a follow up. The initial consult with the supplements he gave me was R8 000. I cannot take the one supplement because of the niacin content. I called today to find out if he was going to charge me for the follow up consult only to be told it would cost me R1 500. That is R9 500. I told him to cancel my appointment. He will not not release my results to me. This is despicable and interesting on the weekend I chatted to several doctors who have worked with him. They say to steer clear of him. What concerns me is that he has dived into stem cell therapy and all sorts without having a diagnosis we should have obtained through blood results. It's disgraceful. I feel like I paid for his Christmas Holiday.

Over and above all of this, despite me being honest enough to say I cannot afford the R9 500 up front and I requested to pay it back over a few months, I was met with hostility and told that I would not get my results until I have paid.
