Unprofessional Practice

My wife and I visited the practice to make an dental appointment for our seven year old daughter. She just required a general check up and her permanent tooth felt shaky to her so we wanted a professional to check it. We live about 30 mins away but as my wife visited the hosiptal where the dentist was located we thought it maybe best to use her services as the doctors there seemed to be professional.<br> <br> All the medical aid details were given to the dentist prior to us visiting. When we got to the practice we felt interogatted by the assistant. We we then told that we had R3000 in savings and that it was\unsecured"and that we had to pay a R500 fee upfront. We were very upset as we had travelled there and should have been told that this was the case prior to us coming there. No apologies was given for the inconvience.<br> <br> The practice is run in a very unprofessional manner and it is surprising that this dentist has any clients at all."""
