Dr Chris Jack

COMPLAINT Dr. Christopher Jack MB ChB (Natal) FCP South Africa Specialist Physician PR *** 8th Floor Durdoc Centre Durban Patient is just a pawn in a Bigger Scheme of Things Avery good friend of mine, whom I have known for over twenty years and was involved since the day of his diagnosed and his struggle with Liberty Life Insurance and an *********** Insurance Ombudsman. During these investigations and deliberations I saw Mr P.M. Singh relieved of thousands of Rand and his Medical Aid billed with hundreds of Rand. He then had the unfortunate referral to this Dr Christopher Jack, a so-called HIV Specialist. Lots of blood samples were collected at this Surgery and treatment that worked changed to a new regime that did not seem to favourably affecting his CD count or Viral Load. (I am an Educated person up to Doctor of Science level in the U.S.A and also an HIV Councillor with years of Experience in the field, during my stay in the U.K. until my retirement at the age of 55 in 2004. I have also kept myself updated to the latest treatments of this Viral Infection) The whole interventions by this Dr is questionable, not that I disregard his knowledge or qualifications, but his Patient/Doctor interactions. He accused Mr Singh of not taking his tablets as prescribed and made Serious Allegations of Mr Singh taking Whoonga (a black tar Heroin mixed with other questionable ingredients, used mostly in the Durban area) instead of reviewing the now questionable Regime of treatment embarked on’ None of his Allegations will or can be proved, as Mr Sing is a Teetotaller, non-smoker for as long as I have known him, which is longer than twenty years. I was am also involved in his taking his tablets as prescribed, due to my career in Medical Practices, spanning over a period of 44 years, in South Africa as well as in the United Kingdom. I also advised Mr Singh on the taking of his medicine, all of it on the same time every day. He also has Live-in attendant supervising his treatment. Yesterday, 10/01/2020, Mr Singh arrived at 11h00 and was allowed to wait until 16h00 hours to be seen. On seeing Dr Jack, he was advised again, that he is not taking his treatment. “Your eyes are RED and they SHOULD be Yellow, if you take your Medication as prescribed” the learned Colleague of mine suggested. Avery dangerous Statement unless supported by Laboratory results (Yellow eyes to me denotes that there must be a form of liver failure causing Jaundice. (A serious Side effect the warrants immediate intervention of some kind. Blood samples for Liver Function at least). The whole so called “Consultation” lasted not more than 15 minutes. The Advice given to the patient, I am saving for the Letter of Complaint being drafted for the Health Professional Council of South Africa and also Social Media. (Hellopeter and Facebook, just to mention a few.) It was obviously given to the Benefit of the Insurance Company and the Insurance Ombudsman and not for the Benefit of the Patient. All of this this caused me to see Serious Red Flags as to the whole Episode and treatment of Mr P.M. Singh and cause me to come to the aid of this very Unfortunate Patient, that is now disabled and at his wits’ end. As a courtesy to a Medical Professional a copy of this Correspondence will also be send to Dr. Jack at *** PATIENT: P.M. SINGH.
