What a disappointment!

I have never seen a doctor so disinterested, aloof and disengaged as this one. Unfortunately my aunt’s regular cardiologist could not be reached and she was referred to Dr. Botha as he was on call. When she was brought into his office he did not even greet or acknowledge her, preferring to take a phone call instead. When done on the call, he told her he does not know why she was referred to him, since she already has a cardiologist.. He then simply told my aunt she was to go down to reception to be admitted to hospital, and her regular cardiologist would come to see her tomorrow. Take note her admittance was to the ICU, so she was not there today for a random visit. She was uncomfortable, in pain and scared - would it have killed him to show a little compassion or at the very least, dare I say it, give her the respect of a proper greeting? He could not have been less bothered if he tried. What an absolute disappointment when people who took an oath to care end up like this. This is the kind of attitude we have come to see in government, it is not what one expects from an educated man working in a private hospital. I am disgusted to say the least.
