Dr's employees should be schooled.....
I personally do not know the Dr, and I am sure having his Degree makes him qualified, this goes out to his staff, more so his receptionist...I work in a medical field also, and along side brilliant specialists!!! Why are they brilliant??? Because they care...and so do we as their employees...personally I think that you should not work in health care just to earn a salary, but, because you have passion for it, for the people...Firstly when someone sees a specialist, we should all know by now it is not something to be taken lightly, especially when in cardiology and neurology etc…. We should ensure our patients feel that they are in good hands....and this does not start with the Dr but with his staff!!! Lesego...When we go to see specialists for serious matters or even Drs for when we are sick...we want to know we are taken care of!!!is it not what a care giver/ health care provider is supposed to do? No one wants to see a unpleasant attitude!!! you'd be surprised what a happy and reassuring smile could do! You as his staff member should be his right hand in every case he sees...you are not just there to see to office duties and earn a salary!!! AND Dr's FIRST DO NO HARM!!! This means, knowing that you did everything you could do for a patient instead of letting them walk out the door with a possible pending heart attac**** This starts with your frontline too...I am blown away by the fact that a civilian has to bring this to your attention!! why don't you do us a favour and have a look at how Dr Duane Mol Runs his practice...with pride and passion!!! and he expects nothing less from his employees we all know the medical aids are looking for ways to evade responsibilities more and more, so his practice fights for their patients....that's how you get things done!!! In return my mother did not get the help she needs because your practice does not go the extra mile to help......I guess money makes the world go round....forget Dr's Ethics…..Pathetic.
