Do not use Intercare Woodburn dentist. You will live to regret it

Poor and pathetic service and they attempted to **** me by forcing me to pay a paid up debt.

My son went to intercare woodburn dental department (Pietermaritzburg). He needed a minor cavity sorted on one tooth. After 3 or 4 sessions dentistry funds exhausted by the dentist there, my son couldn't sleep with full blown agonizing pain in his mouth. He went to report to the dentist that he can't even eat. Nothing was done to fix the cause of the pain which the dentist caused. And now still living with chronic toothache. To my surprise, the complaint visit was charged to me and not medical aid. In August 19th I recieved a call from Intercare accounts department demanding their money. I told them i did not have money and would pay in 2 installments over two months. September I made a payment of R200. They wanted the full amount and they were told that the arrangement was for 2 months and there was no objection to the arrangement made in August. Come October 21st I made the second payment of R220. Having honored my side of the arrangement while they messed up my son's life.

Within minutes of payment in October, I recieve a whatsapp message and email from their lawyers demanding that I pay double the initial amount. This is about 20min after payment is made and have proof thereof. They have threatened to subpoena me for a paid up debt. I have their original invoice and proof of payments. I was spoken to in a very rude and demeaning manner by an employee at Intercare Woodburn Pietermaritzburg, telling me that the arrangement made in August was not in writing and not binding. In their demand for money nobody has taken any responsibility for the damage to my sons physical ad mental health having to live in pain for months! Months!! Instead I am being ****med and bul**** for a paid up debt! What is the point of making a call and making and arrangement if they had no intention of honoring the arrangement?

For your peace of mind...DO NOT USE INTERCARE DENTAL DEPARTMENT. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. RUN!!! There are hundreds of professional dentists in and around Pietermaritzburg. Just do not use Intercare dentists.

Pathetic service.

My child went to see a dentist left with debilitating chronic pain which lasted for months!! And later I an ****med for a paid up debt.. am angry
